I’d like to use this post to Thank the Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Lancaster-Sherman. They supported Forgotten No More with two donations to purchase training materials for the Training Center. Most of the materials you will see in this post was purchased from their donation. Thank You so much for your partnership in helping these children become forgotten NO MORE!
No, I didn’t take this to the bank…I put it in my wallet 🙂
Remember from the last post that I said I’d get a picture of Melaku’s finished product on the side supports for the First Class Chair…
Here you go… (we went from nothing, to this…)
into these. Great Job Melaku!
We spent a few hours discussing how to utilize the really great training materials I was able to bring.
great for family dynamics training.
Sensory stepping cushions
The Rocker Popper (It has suction cups on the bottom that pop while you rock back and forth)…I have a video of Mesfin using this, but I didn’t want to embarrass him. 🙂
The staff said this was Cheryl & I…but I don’t think I look that tired…most of the time 🙂
Meet Shashitu. The small ball she is holding called a “Fidget Twidget” This ball and other similar items I brought are very calming to Shashitu. She has been identified as being on the autistic spectrum.
The soccer goals are going to get a lot of use at Forgotten No More, and it’s really neat how everyone cheers on each other when they score a goal!
Check out this video…
Forgotten No More would like to give a special Thank You the Rotary Club of Lancaster – Sherman for their help in providing these wonderful training materials. “Thank You Very Much!”… in Amharic “Betam Ameseekganalow!”
