We love all of you so dearly, and we’ve been wanting to share and thank everyone during these many months of unrest! As we get through the holidays, we’ll be able to communicate more. It was a little difficult over there, no cellular network and the internet blocked most of the time, not to mention the monitoring concerns always looming over us. *Now, my FNM email is working on my Mac again, GieseFamily@4GottenNoMore.org or NewLife@4GottenNoMore.org
This is our first Christmas in the US since 2009. The kids & I arrived back in the states on Dec 22nd, meeting up with Cheryl & Yismaw. Now, it’s Christmas morning, everyone is sleeping, and I’m jet lagged and my mind is very much still on Ethiopia. So much is going on back home, and our hearts are with our staff & friends/family in the country we’ve been calling home for the past 6.5 years, Ethiopia.
We appreciate all of you for your support, we’re glad to be home, and we’ll begin our work here after the New Year begins…well, after the Buckeyes win. 🙂
Thanks so much for your support, and know that the work of Forgotten No More has continued to grow, even during the civil unrest. We have so much exciting stuff to share with everyone. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Tim, Cheryl, Yismaw, Ava, Rediet, & Nebiyu …also our little dog, “Buna” will be living with the Grace Center’s Foster Home for Girls while we are out of Ethiopia. She will be a great nurturer for them to have around. Love all of you!
